Track that child

IMG_5393

Children are born ready, able and eager to learn. They actively reach out to interact with other people, and in the world around them. Development is not an automatic process, however. It depends on each unique child having opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments.

As an inspirational teacher, do you know how well the children in your care are developing? It is highly important that children’s development is tracked throughout their early years. The benefits of effective tracking are immense. You ought to track children’s progress irrespective of the curriculum you follow. One effective way to do this is, is to use the clear guidance given in the British EYFS framework. It is gives you a step by step tracker, so that you can identify, track and document children’s progress. When you do this, you can quickly recognise the child’s progress, see expected highlights and identify areas for concern.

  1. Good day.
An amazing job you are doing I must say and thank you for the educative articles too.
I couldn’t download the EYFS tracker. Is there any other way you could help with it? I really want it and would appreciate if you could send by any other means.
    Thank you.
